The Audience Growth Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the audience marketing team in attracting and retaining digital audiences and website traffic for Industry Dive’s expanding business journalism portfolio. They will play a significant role in the execution and analysis of various performance marketing initiatives, including: paid media, native advertising, email marketing, SEO, and more. They will also contribute to our team’s on-going efforts to better know and understand our audiences through strategic audience development, engagement, and retention projects across the Industry Dive portfolio.

If you’re a creative and strategic marketer who loves to roll up your sleeves and dig into exciting projects, we’d love to talk with you!Job Qualifications:1 - 2 years experience in digital marketingExperience with paid media advertising (particularly social), email marketing, and measurement toolsAbility to learn new platforms quickly and create and build documentation for various teamsCommunicate clearly and persuasively, with proven copywriting skillsEagerness and ability to provide creative solutions to problems through research and curiosityDetailed, organized, and self-directedResourceful and comfortable with taking initiativeEnthusiastic about journalism and the media industrySEM and event marketing experience a plusResponsibilities:Assist in the execution of growth marketing initiatives, including: paid media campaigns (including social media and paid search), email marketing campaigns, and experimentation with new channels and organic marketing programs in order to drive traffic and email newsletter subscriptionsAnalyze marketing performance through regular campaign reporting and make optimization and budgetary recommendationsBuild audiences and targeting segments using data tools to provide better user experiences across all digital channels (website, email, social, etc)Assist with go-to-market and promotional planning for new editorial product launches and special projects, such as events and industry reports, and work closely with editorial, design, product, and other departments across the company Opportunity to have your voice be heard and help the broader team identify new growth channels and strategiesAssist on a variety of digital marketing projects and initiatives as neededNice to Have:Performance marketing experience, either at an agency, publisher or brandWorking knowledge of email marketing and HTMLUnderstanding of SEO/SEM and PPC best practicesInterest in data and/or marketing analytics and how they impact audience marketing Curious about audience development or customer insights, using them to inform marketing campaigns
