At EVERFI, a Senior Business Analyst/Technical Product Owner shapes and executes the product vision in collaboration with product managers, designers, engineers, and many other stakeholders. Success requires a natural curiosity, data-driven insights, and design thinking frameworks to rapidly define and launch minimally viable products and features, monitor the impact on success criteria, and iterate as needed. This is a senior position that provides ample opportunity to coach and mentor other members of a growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end user experience solutions focused on user needs and business goals 
  • Define, test, and maintain intuitive yet power capabilities that operate in concert with other applications via a complex, services oriented architecture
  • Empower product managers and designers to validate market needs, business requirements, and experience prototypes
  • Identify and escalate dependencies and risks to project goals and milestones
  • Define measurable success criteria for new features, monitor the adoption, and communicate impact to all stakeholders
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes that reduce cycle time and improve quality and impact of development efforts
  • Evaluate third-party integrations and services that might accelerate time-to-market and minimize the total cost of ownership
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience working as Business Analyst/Technical Product Owner on an Agile or Scrum team
  • Experience building rapidly evolving EdTech, FinTech or Marketing Technology products
  • Working knowledge of software requirements definition principles and methods
  • Collaborative, excellent listening and communication skills
