About The Position
As part of the FiscalNote People leadership team, the Senior Director of Organizational Effectiveness & People Partners will be a thought leader and activator for talent planning, team member development, change management, engagement, inclusive leadership, and workforce planning supported by data-driven analytics, in addition to employee service delivered through People Partners. The position is responsible for the management of the team of People Partners, globally. Together with the People Partners, this role ensures that OE initiatives and service to employees at all levels are both proactive and responsive to business needs for the effective development, support, coaching, employee relations, and performance management of FN’s global workforce. The role also acts as liaison and advisor to the organization's leadership and facilitates initiatives across the company in partnership with the Chief People Officer, SLT, and DEIBA Taskforce. The position achieves results together with the team of People Partners to design and deliver business solutions and services across OE and L&D, employee relations, compensation and rewards consultation, workforce planning, interface with Recruiting, and other related needs.

What to Expect in this Position Collaborate with leaders across departments to identify needs, design and develop learning solutions utilizing proven organizational development methods and evaluate their effectivenessBring forward strategic ideas for how OD can accomplish business goals and strengthen the development and performance of talentEstablish competency-based development processes to enhance productivity, profits, and successful business outcomesOversees the design and implementation of a cohesive, DEI driven vision for learning and development and a comprehensive Leadership Development program with a purposeful, annual (and in some cases multi-year) scope and sequence that begins with employee onboardingIdentifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plansDesigns and develops training programs for management and non-management team members and aids in the development of career pathsDevelops learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides, and lesson plansPartner with the People team and managers to enhance Agile performance management techniques and employee development processPartner with the new employee orientation team to identify areas of improvement and engagement to enhance overall retentionConsults with management on performance, organizational, and leadership matters Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performanceContributes to mentoring, coaching, engagement, and performance interventionsAdvises and activates change management and transition leadership; support organizational designApply data science approaches to analyze patterns and trends in the organization and present data to leadershipLead the annual engagement survey process including communications, results analysis, and action planning as well as oversee the creation of ad hoc surveysFoster data-driven decision making and measurement of OD and HR programs and find ways to weave analytics into regular People operating rhythmsWhat Sets You Apart:Bachelor's degree in training and development, organizational development or related discipline or equivalent experience 10+ years of training experience and 7+ years of leadership experience, and/or a combination of education and experienceValue a mindset of growth and building a supportive vulnerable cultureProven abilities as an effective leader and manager of peopleStrategic mindset while also comfortable rolling up sleeves as a practitionerAbility to proactively embrace and drive positive, transformational change and build this capability into the greater organizationInfluence, collaborate, and facilitate with all stakeholders; able to assess, diagnose and improve leadership and team capabilities at senior levels and lead people to good decisionsProven ability to resolve many priorities simultaneously, quickly synthesizing multiple perspectives to identify themes and solutionsProven experience as a leader with the ability to effectively manage a team of motivated professionalsAdeptly derives strategic insights from performance/impact analytics; leveraging insights to drive program and organizational effectivenessDetail and results-oriented – able to lead self and others through completion of multiple projectsAdaptable – able to respond when business needs or priorities change Experience designing and implementing effective training and development programsExperience working with Learning Management Systems preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong facilitation and presentation skillsAdept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methodsAbility to evaluate and research training options and alternativesProficient with Google Office SuiteData Science or Data Analytics certification is highly preferredAbout FiscalNote
