About the Position
FiscalNote is looking for an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented marketer passionate about crafting compelling campaigns intended to drive interest in our company, product, and services with prospects and customers.
As a Demand Generation Manager for Fireside, you will effectively own the marketing funnel for our Congressional & state legislator audiences. You should be comfortable creating and managing multi-channel campaigns that will resonate with target job titles to drive them down the sales funnel. In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of the products and value props for your segments to meet engagement & MQL goals.
You will also build strong relationships with Sales, Account Management & Product to ensure alignment around key personas and goals, and work closely with the Product Marketer for the segment. This role reports to the Senior Director of Demand Generation.
About the Marketing Team
The Marketing Team at FiscalNote collaborates across business units to help drive sales and support the company’s growth goals using data and creativity. With a demand-generation approach, the Marketing team targets high-quality leads and nurtures them with compelling content and events, including webinars, blogs, lunch & learns, white papers, case studies, and the like.

What to Expect in this Position:
  • You’ll get to know your targeted persona like the back of your hand, figuring out what sort of content they’re interested in and what their goals & pain points are.
  • You’ll work with product marketing and content marketing to curate a library of resources that help generate interest in Fireside products to support demand generation goals.
  • You’ll own the demand generation strategy for the product, planning campaigns & managing against monthly, quarterly & annual goals.
  • You’ll execute the demand generation campaigns for your segment, writing amazing emails and digital ads to capture the audience's interest and keep them engaged as they go down the sales funnel.
  • You’ll manage the cross-sell strategy for your segment, engaging current accounts with content around other relevant offerings.
  • You’ll draft web content as needed to enhance your campaigns & on-site conversions.
  • You’ll gather anecdotal and data-driven feedback on the effectiveness of your campaigns and messaging and turn that information into actionable improvements.
  • Work closely with other groups in the Marketing Department, including our Event/Brand, Design, Operations, and Digital Marketing teams.

  • What Sets You Apart:
  • 3-5 years of marketing in a demand generation role in a SAAS or B2B environment
  • Excellent written, editing, and verbal communication skills and are obsessed with making sure that content is clean, accurate, and delivers the right message.
  • Proven ability to understand and map campaigns, content, and messaging across the customer journey
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience marketing to public sector audiences a plus
  • Familiarity with Marketo, Salesforce, Craft & WordPress or similar content management systems
