Responsibilities

  • Testing all aspects of the platform like UX, function/component, system, performance, regression and service.
  • Work with the product managers to understand new features and requirements along with high level test scenarios
  • Work with development team to identify and capture low level test cases, ensure version management
  • Setting up of test environments, designing test plans, developing test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases.
  • Providing feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) preferred
  • 7+ years of software testing experience
  • 4+ years experience testing web applications with scale of 1+ million requests.
  • 4+ years experience optional working in automated testing and load testing
  • Experience working with remote Agile teams
  • Experience writing test cases
  • Experience with test case documentation and review
  • Experience testing in continuous integration environments
  • Optional testing in a Ruby Environment
  • Front-end testing experience using automation test frameworks
  • Experience writing automation scripts in Selenium / Cucumber
  • Experience testing in an agile environment
  • Experience working at at SaaS start-up
